More than 20 UCSF students participated in the sixth version of the Science & Friendship Simposium

During november 8-9th, was carried out a new version of this Simposium, which seeks to strengthen research partnerships between researchers from Fundación for and researchers from University of California San Francisco (UCSF).

This version of the Science & Friendship included professors from Department of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry and over 20 students from 4 doctoral programs of the university.

On behalf of Fundacion, Dr. Luis Burzio, Dr. Álvaro Lladser among other, gave talks.

Likewise, on behalf of UCSF professor Jim Wells, of the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Dr. Christine Guthrie, from the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics, Dr. John Abelson of the Department of Chemistry, California Institute of Technology, San Diego, and Professor Jeffrey Cox ofthe Department of Microbiology & Immunology at UCSF also give their talks.

As last year this event was funded MIFAB-II program, Andrés Bello University and the Foundation Ciencia para la Vida.
