Alvaro Lladser, PhD

Principal Investigator

Immunoncology Lab

Dr. Lladser is a Biochemist with a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from Universidad de Chile, and did his postdoctoral training at the Cancer Center of the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden.

Since the end of 2010, Dr. Lladser directs the Laboratory of Immunoncology at Fundación Ciencia & Vida and since 2019 he is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Science of Universidad San Sebastián. He is currently Principal Investigator of the Centro Basal Ciencia & Vida (FB210008), of a FONDECYT Regular grant (1212070), and coinvestigator in several collaborative projects.

His research focuses on unraveling the complex molecular and cellular networks that underlie effective T cell-mediated antitumor immunity by analyzing human samples using high-dimensional transcriptomics and phenotypic analyses, as well as ex vivo functional assays and in vivo tumor models.
