Training the next generations of scientists is one of our main goals. We accompany students from their undergraduate years to postdoctoral work, with four doctoral programs run jointly with Universidad San Sebastián, so that they can carry out independent research and take knowledge beyond the laboratory.
Our four doctoral programs are run jointly with Universidad San Sebastián and are embedded in the research clusters and their platforms. Students learn by doing research, with international collaborators and in contact with the world of innovation.
Prepares students for a career in research and teaching in microbiology, virology and immunology, with applications in human health and the environment, in a multidisciplinary setting with international collaborations.
Trains investigators able to move between science and business. It includes intellectual property, regulation, financing and placements in biotechnology companies and startups.
A program where biology, mathematics, physics and computing converge. It studies biological systems at different scales, from molecules to populations, with tools from artificial intelligence, molecular modeling, bioinformatics and biological networks.
Trains investigators who study the normal and pathological function of the cell and apply that knowledge to understand diseases that need better treatments or still have none.
